Our client, a leader in the education services space, is looking to add an Oracle APEX Web Developer to its team. They have a very generous 228-day schedule with an additional ten days off plus ten more vacation days. This position will primarily work with Oracle APEX, the world's leading low-code web development platform with some ETL/ELT work thown in. We are looking for a problem solver that isn't afraid to tackle tough problems. Experience in education or government is a plus.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- 5+ years of experience
- Solid grasp of web foundation technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript; and ELT/ETL principals.
- Demonstrated capacity to rapidly learn new software languages, tools, and development strategies as needed
- Ability to directly develop, enhance, and maintain the current set of information systems and applications currently in production
- Ability to facilitate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of current and future applications
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL database design and functionality, as it relates to coding and to user interface
- Experience in the use of Git/GitHub for code source management
